Hey

Hi there,

My New Years Resolution was to do something new in my life, and on a whim, I decided to buy a few decks of Bicycle cards and learn on how to shuffle a card deck properly. Through surfing YouTube videos, I came across some trick tutorials and found myself spending hours watching them ... and before I knew it I was sitting down trying to learn sleights and flourishes, and eventually a few very basic tricks.

Darksleightz channel especially inspired me, and its through there/here that I have been studying the most. Hell, I can even do a half decent in hand riffle shuffle now

I am a completely and utter rookie at all this, but the last two months have been a joy in learning, and I'm very much looking forward to the coming months and years of putting time into, what I feel, is an extremely awesome and romantic art form.

Welcome! Haha, you started almost exactly the same way I did, though I'd recommend not focusing on youtube magic for much longer, if you want to go anywhere with it. If you focus on the romanticism and eventually begin to develop your own stuff, I'm sure you'll get a great deal of good from magic.
Enjoy your stay.

Welcome! It's good to have you here and very glad to have inspired you.
Can't wait for there to be any videos (whether it are performances or progress videos) on your YouTube channel.

Hello! It's exciting to hear your eagerness and determination. It does take years of practice, but as you put it so well, this art form definitely creates a romance between everyone it reaches, which is worth it.
