1) Try to find a reason to place the ace on top of the deck in the first place. Don't just place it on the deck and then take it off. That's a major cause for suspicion;
2) Don't dribble the cards after you have placed the selection face up. That clearly shows that either the 3 is gone or that it turned face down, which ruins the trick;
3) Same with #1 above, find a reason for you to place the Ace on top of the deck in order for the sw***h to happen after splitting the deck into multiple piles. That's another cause for suspicion.

The concept is good, but requires a bit of fine-tuning.

Maybe here's a good starting point: If you were the spectator watching this, what would you potentially think is a problem with the trick?

Good luck on it! It's tough to make it better, but always worth it in the end
