I don't think popularity matters here.
If someone is doing something very wrong, then let it be known. He's a human and we are all humans. There should be no such discrimination that excepts one person over another when they have done something distasteful. I don't know Kam at all, but all I'm saying is, you shouldn't do wrong things if you don't have to.
