i thought there were more subtleties involved so the method i asked you about was not correct, but now i'm confused, does that mean the basic move actually comprised of more than just the secret move?

I see what you mean. What you showed me was not the correct way to perform the move at all, although the concept was similar to ACID. The way you showed me made it more angle-sensitive and it's not due to the subtleties since I really don't think there is any at all except for what I talk about in consistency of flipping cards in ACID (although that really has nothing to do with the move).
