Hey everyone,

I guess I don't actually need to introduce myself anymore but okay, just for all of you great people!

I am Mark Hilkemeijer, also known as Mystery Mark () whenever there is magic involved. I was born the 29th of May 1989, live in the Netherlands and own my own company which is specialized in music, magic, software and talent, currently being head of the music and magic departments myself. Because the business is doing great but at the same time is amazingly fragile I decided to go to uni, just to get myself some backup for if anything would go wrong.

I've been playing the piano since I was able to (had my first official lesson at the age of 4) and I've been doing magic since November 2005.

Oh, and for if you didn't know this yet, I'm also the founder and one of the administrators of this website. So hereby I would like to thank all of you a lot for joining and checking out these forums! Much appreciated!!

Yes, but that has been a while ago.

I used to host an online music contest some years ago and I did that without my sunglasses but everyone was like: "Nooooo, why don't you wear your shades anymore?!" so I decided to put them back on.

The actual reason why I wear them goes back to when I did my first stage performances and got bothered by the spotlights. My eyes aren't really good but I figured that with sunglasses I at least was able to see the audience, which usually appeared to be one big black blob from my (and any other artist's) perspective. Ever since it's been my image.

ahhh, wow didn't know the story behind the glasses. I wouldn't mind seeing one of the old ones without, just to see the difference!
