You know, you have to understand why Asian parents do that. Many Asian countries were poor or still are not as well off just as far as 50 years ago. A prime example is South Korea, where I come from. Just 50 to 60 years ago, it was like almost a 3rd world country or 2nd world country, generally very poor. Luckily, a good president came into power to save the country, but in any case. The parents just don't want their kids to go through what they went through and get proper education
I still get long lectures from my parents from time to time xD They just want the best for their children

I have to agree with you Albert. It is human nature or actually parents nature to make sure that their kid doesn't make "stupid" mistakes that they have made. Like being a smoker,trying drugs etc... That's why so much pressure is being put on to the children, or that's why I figure.
Back on the topic. After I finish my high school ( I have just finished my 1st year), I am going to law school. My final life goal is to be a forensic. It is so interesting to read what other people goals are |
