Default Logitech C300 Webcam Review

This is the webcam I currently use to record all of my videos.

Video- The quality is quite bad, but maybe it might just be my computer. In average lighting, it is somewhat blurry and is very slow. However, when it is shined in intensified lighting, the framerate and quality suddenly boost up to an average digital camera.

Audio- The webcam comes with a built in microphone. For chatting, I would recommend it, otherwise, if you are producing music, get a new microphone. When talking, there is a bit of muffling.

Overall- I was dissatisfied with this product, but I guess the quality is worth the price. I bought it for about 30 USD.

3.5/10

Blame technology for improving this fast. The latest webcam series from Logitech are a whole lot better than the one the C300 belongs to and they aren't much more expensive. The C910 (new series) costs as much as the Pro 9000 (old series) used to cost, and it's quality a whoooole lot better. Same for the C300 back in the day and the C310 nowadays.

So instead of a C300, I'd suggest to get a C310.. or a C510.

I might save up for a C910. My friend in San Francisco has one. He did a quality test on YouTube. It's pretty sweet, and the range is HUGEE.

For YouTube, a C510 would be just as good (and a lot cheaper) unless you would want to shoot 1080p.

Those videos were actually shot with a C910:

What is the price range for a C510?

60 bucks, which is 40$ cheaper than the C910.
