What is this?

Oh hello there!

My name is Josef. I'm from sweden and I have been into magic for a couple of years now. So I thought I would join this forum but I'm not entirely sure what to do here...

Anyone have some suggestions?

Kelan 08-07-2011 07:59 PM

Hey Josef!!

I suggest taking part in some of our discussions and watching Mark's videos.. They're awesome!

Booh ya!

TheMisdirectingHand 08-08-2011 03:11 AM

Hello Josef! Welcome to our little community. We basically do what every other magic forum does, talk about moves, sleights, flourishes, etc.

... but wait! There's more!

Since the community is pretty small, we all know each other, and we all just basically have fun with one another. :)

Also, you can purchase magic products (Exposure videos, tutorials) created by DarkSleightz from the store.

What do we do here? nothing... srly, nothing. We don't do anything, we simply enjoy everything, talking about magic, joking around, picking at each other's lines... we're a close family that was accused of being brainwashed by many of Mark's haters

TheMisdirectingHand 08-08-2011 05:57 AM

Yeah, we've grown pretty close over the year :D We're pretty sure you'll fit in just fine.

Yeah! I have watched some of them already and they sure are awesome! That's what brought me here...

Yeah about haters... Mark seems to have a lot of them. What is that all about?

Mark 08-08-2011 07:02 AM

Hej Josef, hur mår du? Great to have you here! :D

Unfortunately, that's a bigger mystery than any of my tricks. :(;)

Tjena Mark! Jag mår bra!

You probably got haters because you do your tricks to good. ^_^

Anyway, I almost forgot.

I have this youtube-channel with some music I produced. It's only a demo so it is kind of crappy sound-quality but the composition is good. So I would love if you guys would listen to it and give some comments/criticism. The genre is progressive metal.

I will probably upload some magic tricks sooner or later to...

la0o9 08-08-2011 01:40 PM

Haters... well, usually there are 2 answers to this question:
1) Jealousy, jealousy gives birth to hatred, and thus haters, but in Mark's case, it's probably hate from the upper tier of magicians who aren't as good as Mark supposedly is( sorry, i always speak with doubt, don't mind the language, just the message delivered in them) but are still experienced and spreads down to the "little people" like a virus( remember, jealousy is easier to spread than any virus there is, all it takes is a simple push)
2) Mark really is as they say he is, and we, are truly brainwashed by him, thus he gets haters

take your pick, cause mine is number 1

Hey Rokk! Sorry for the late response, but welcome aboard! You don't have to feel any like you have an obligation to do anything here, like everyone else has posted. Just have fun, respect others, avoid magic exposure, and that's all we are asking for ;)

TommySteal 08-08-2011 04:35 PM

Hello Rokk. I'm Tom from England but currently reside in Italy. Umm, the guys have already said what I was gonna say, so yeah...welcome.

TheMisdirectingHand 08-08-2011 05:19 PM

Fin 08-08-2011 07:02 PM

I naturally show-off, like how I did above, simply making it seem like I was asking him a question. ;)

Oh, and one of life's greatest lessons I learned was 'Show-off when you can because you can't do that when you have nothing to show-off'. xD
