Magicians are always looking for the best ways to control cards. All they need is a single kind of control that could be used to move cards to really every position in the deck and which allows them to control multiple cards at once as well. But how does any magician know what control works best for them if they do not have that many options? The 'Repulse Control' is one of the card controls that could expand many magicians' horizons so we are very pleased to present you this sleight.

This is not the 'Diagonal Palm Shift', 'One-Card Middle Pass', 'Mike's Move', or 'Orbit Control'. There may be some similarities but it is mostly original.

Is it somewhat of a diagonal palm shift?

EDIT : Sorry I didn't read the whole topic as it is said :
"This is not the 'Diagonal Palm Shift', 'One-Card Middle Pass', 'Mike's Move', or 'Orbit Control".

TommySteal 05-16-2011 07:41 PM

I'm thinking that too

Mark 05-16-2011 09:28 PM

He actually came up with it after failing at figuring out the 'Diagonal Palm Shift' from other people's performances.

But nah, the 'Repulse Control' may have some similarities but is different and can do much more than a 'DPS'. ^_^

:D

Don't, some cardicans actually describe it as the hardest palms to learn... Also I think I have found out how to do the repulse control :)

s13zeTheDay 05-16-2011 10:29 PM

I have to admit, the top control is a lot of work for what it is in my opinion (though it's still very fluid), however the move itself is ingenious and an amazing bottom control. The teaching and video quality are both great. How can you beat an hour and a half for ONE utility move (and a few extras) as compared to some sites whose downloads are 10-20 minutes. Definitely a lot of bang for your buck. I recommend it.

Thanks Si3ze!

That means a lot to me :)

Top control

Hey Albert,

Great to see the Repulse control finally released.

Is the control to the top angleproof, and would you consider it to be good as a regular top control?

Thanks,
Tanay

I guess you meant "as a regular bottom control"? ;)
The top control isn't quite as good on the angles but it can still be performed in angle proof situations (also explained on the release). ^_^

As Mark has explained, the top control isn't quite good on the angles if you are to perform it surrounded while the spectators are burning your hands. But, that is why I have included in the release a simple and very deceptive way to make sure you can perform all the controls surrounded within a matter of a second :)

Now... if only I had online funds...

Now... if only I had internet that didn't download at 90 KB/s...

Mark 05-21-2011 12:01 PM

Now... if only you would go to the library or another place with faster internet... or wait 12 hours for the download to complete. ;)

Quick question: just bought this and it says that the order is pending because the merchant hasn't accepted the payment. I'm relatively new to using Paypal so I was wondering if this means that the payment was successful and I'm clear or if there's something else I have to do to be able to download.

You paid by eCheck which means it will take 3-6 work days before the payment gets cleared. As soon as it cleared, you will receive your download link by e-mail.

The reason why it does not send you the download link immediately is because Paypal cannot see how much money you have in your bank account. This means frauds would be able to get away without paying at all if they pay with an empty bank account. The moment the payment clears is the moment we received the money, which is some days after the money gets taken off of your account.

Hope this clears it up. Thank you for the purchase.

mtsmartins 05-27-2011 07:10 PM

Hi there.haha
I think i'll buy it, '-'

great move and addicted to practicing it

still need to improve the smoothness when the thumb slide down the first time,

I'm exactly the same. But once every now and then it looks smooth, so I know it's within reach. Just more practise for me I think :)

Hugokhf 06-29-2011 04:44 PM

i tried to break it up into two squaring up motion
so it is more smooth

You can try to figure out whatever you want, fact is that you'll miss out on a whole lot of things if you won't get the tutorial. :(
It's 1.5 hours in length for a reason. ;)

Fin 07-01-2011 12:37 AM

Amen to that Mark! Even if you managed to work it out just by watching the clip you would be missing out on alot of important subtleties and tips taught during the tutorial that make the move so much better.

Travmang 07-01-2011 02:09 AM

Such as the refining techniques i need to work on!

mendes12 08-26-2011 06:40 PM

If you still have the download link from when you purchased this product, you can click that link and request a new download on that page. As soon as we approved this request, you can download the product again.

In case you do not have this link anymore, send us a message including the e-mail address you used to purchase this product and we will send you a new one anyways.

mendes12 08-26-2011 09:13 PM

Where do i send the message to?

Admin 08-26-2011 09:14 PM

Contact Us

mendes12 08-27-2011 09:26 PM

i already sent a message with the email. what now?

Admin 08-27-2011 09:55 PM

We sent you a reply. Be sure to actually remember the e-mail address you used for the purchase next time. It makes life a lot easier.

MattJay124 08-28-2011 09:16 PM

I really want to buy this but I don't have a PayPal account. Is there any other way to pay?

P.S - I'm from the UK if that makes any difference.

Admin 08-28-2011 09:37 PM

The UK is listed as England in the alternative payment options. Also, it only certainly works for England, although it will probably work for the other countries within the UK as well.

Since you are in England, none of those options should be a problem. You can buy whatever product you want with those options too. The more products you buy at once, the less service costs will be included so that may be something to keep in mind.

Hope that helps.

Robbie Baxter 12-17-2011 05:58 AM

Awesome , it's nice control !

GloriousMagic 12-25-2011 02:27 PM

I think I might have a problem here :hm: ...

I just purchased this download (together with the Practical Pass pre-order) using my uncle's credit card, under his name, but my email and address.

However, I did not receive the download link for this. I only received an email confirming the purchases. I checked my spam/junk mail but still could not find it.

I wonder if I'm too impatient and have to wait a little longer for the download link to be sent, or is anything else going wrong resulting in me not getting the link after purchasing? I hope you would enlighten me on what could possibly be done to solve my problem here. (e.g. Do I have to send an email and include more details and pieces of evidence?) :(

Thks in advance and Merry Christmas!

Admin 12-25-2011 03:39 PM

It seems like the 'Repulse Control' download didn't process because you ordered from two different sites at once. I have added your product manually. You can go to the It's eStored and use the password recovery system to receive your password.

Thank you for the purchase, Merry Christmas and happy holidays, and sorry for any inconvenience!

I've got pretty small hands, like really small and I'm having trouble covering the top control... I can barely hide the card when doing the actual control. Any tips?

Turn your hands a little, like 45 to 90 degrees clockwise. Also, the closer you keep it to your body and/or to the floor then, the better it is covered.

justinmiracle 01-08-2012 05:30 PM

And can someone also explain what medium angle group means? And is it possible my hands turn counterclockwise and do the control?
