Aaaaah!!!

My HD camera broke!
All I did was pushing the touchscreen gently.. the way I always do.. and I'm very careful with my electronics.. and.. the screen.. just.. broke off!:(

Now I got to send it back to the store which means I can't make new videos for a while.. or rather.. for about a month. Blah!

Oh no! I'm sorry that happened.

I currently use a Canon EOS T2i/Rebel T2i/550D which we actually ordered just for our upcoming releases. This thread was about the overprized yet extremely solid Samsung HMX-H105 though (the fact mine broke was just really bad luck). Also, I got a Logitech C910 webcam which I have used in low-light situations and still use on the computer. 'Smooth 360' was filmed with the Samsung, an Aiptek AHD Z700 (don't ever get this) and a Sony Cybershot DSC-T2. In the past I mainly used Sony Cybershot photo cameras to film but none of those were HD (although the new series have HD capabilities). The only thing is that except for in the studios (where our DVD releases were filmed), the lighting over here is absolutely horrible. This will change once we moved, which will be within the next couple of weeks.

If I would have to recommend any camera, it'd be the Sony DSC-HX1 though. That camera's price is a true steal for the quality it delivers:

WHAAAAAAAAAT?! Mark! I leave you alone for eight hours and this happens?!

LittleLead 02-05-2011 04:31 PM

Oh dam Mark that sucks, I remember you telling me about this camera.

Mark 02-05-2011 04:52 PM

Lol? This happened almost a year ago. It has been all fine and working for the past 10 months.. :hm:

Ive had my eyes on the Canon Rebel for sometime now. I have been just using a Flip camera until now, which is decent but i'd love to have a nicer one eventually :)

Well, my recommendation is in the bottom of the big post as you may have noticed.

Why don't you justuse one of your other cameras to make videos. Your vids make my day, keep my inspired and keep my brilliant brain from dying of bordem.

Mark 02-07-2011 10:35 AM

I do, I do.. but at the time this thread was made I didn't have any other camera with decent video quality. :)
